What it is
A Smart Coal Analytics Dashboard (SCAD) developed and maintained by the Ministry of Coal as a unified digital platform integrating data across the entire coal value chain — from mine to market. It acts as the digital backbone of India’s coal ecosystem.
Aim
To enable real-time monitoring, data integration, and evidence-based policy formulation, strengthening operational efficiency and coordination across all coal sector stakeholders.
Key Features
Stakeholders

About CLAMP Portal
What it is
A centralized digital platform focused on managing land acquisition, compensation, and rehabilitation & resettlement (R&R) processes specifically in coal-bearing areas. It serves as a comprehensive repository and helps digitize workflows for transparency and timeliness.
Aim
To ensure equitable and timely land management by reducing human discretion, minimizing procedural delays, and improving coordination across coal public sector undertakings (PSU), state departments, and district authorities.
Key Features
Conclusion
Together, KOYLA SHAKTI and CLAMP represent a transformative leap in digital governance for India’s coal sector. These platforms enable real-time data-driven decision-making, enhance operational transparency, and underpin the government’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and "Minimum Government, Maximum Governance" while ensuring sustainable and efficient coal ecosystem management.
