Mule Account

• Context (IE): Supreme Court mandated States/UTs to establish Cyber Crime Coordination Centers and integrate e-Zero FIR mechanisms.
• Core Function: Legitimate bank accounts exploited by cybercriminals to conceal, transfer, and launder illicitly acquired funds.
• Account Typologies: Managed via Unwitting Mules (scam victims), Witting Mules (rented/sold accounts), or fraudulent Synthetic Identities.
• Legal & Tech Measures: Penalized under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002; monitored using RBIH's AI model, MuleHunter.AI.

Xtreme Weather Grade (XWG) Diesel

• Context (PIB): Indian Army and Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) indigenously developed and launched Xtreme Weather Grade (XWG) Diesel.
• Purpose: Provides military-grade fuel engineered to prevent freezing and ensure seamless vehicle operation in high-altitude, subzero regions.
• Key Specs: Features a low pour point (−42°C) to combat gelling and a 50°C flash point for enhanced transport safety.
• Compatibility: Complies with BS-VI and IS 1460:2025 standards, functioning seamlessly without requiring any mechanical engine modifications.

Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Communication

• Context (LM): MoRTH proposes mandating Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication systems in all new vehicles starting 1 October 2028.
• Objective: Complements Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to minimize road accidents and build Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
• Mechanism: On-Board Units (OBUs) form Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) via Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) for non-line-of-sight hazard detection.
• Challenges: High adoption costs, ineffective performance in mixed-traffic conditions, and vulnerability to cyberattacks and GPS spoofing.

Clouded Leopard Conservation Action Plan (CAP)

• Context (PIB | TH): India launched Clouded Leopard CAP on International Clouded Leopard Day to strengthen species conservation efforts.
• Released at the 91st SCNBWL meeting, the framework was developed under the joint India-GEF-UNDP conservation initiative.
• The plan establishes a comprehensive strategy for habitat restoration, scientific tracking, and empowering local indigenous communities.

Clouded Leopard
